Stamco-Hoppings was formed in April 2022 when Hoppings Softwood Products Ltd business was acquired by The Sussex Turnery and Moulding Company (Stamco), this acquisition merged two established companies with very similar commercial principals, visions and goals.

Stamco-Hoppings supplies quality softwood products, in convenient quantities at competitive prices. Offering machined planed and moulded sections, softwood decking and accessories, landscaping timber, fencing, primed MDF mouldings, structural timber and wood plastic composite products. 

Stamco-Hoppings operates from three sites North and South of London: Hastings (Sussex), Epping (Essex) and Lingfield (Surrey) providing an excellent delivery service across the South East and nationally.

SmartFRAME - decking substructure timber

Building a durable substructure is integral to creating a quality decking project. SmartFRAME meets the new requirements for deck substructures which should be treated to a Use Class 4 specification irrespective or whether they are in ground contact or not. SmartFRAME is made from European redwood (pine) and treated with TANATONE^® preservative (brown in colour) to Use Class 4 levels, providing a 25 year desired service life. Suitable for use with SmartBoard, treated softwood and hardwood deck board material.

• C24 strength class 
• 10 year warranty (in ground contact) against fungal decay 
• 15 year warranty (above ground) against fungal decay

Composite (wpc) decking

SmartBOARD is a solid type, reversible wpc decking range with an appealing, tactile brushed matt finish. Available in a range of subtle varying colour tones: Battleship Grey, Slate and Chocolate Brown. It comes with a 25 year residential warranty. Smartboard achieved a Pendulum test value of 54, where 36 or greater classifies it as 'low risk for slip' by the UK regulator the H.S.E.

NOTE:

• only use the SmartBoard approved colour coded screws during the fitting process.
• SmartBoard wpc decking is not covered by the TDCA DeckMark accreditation

Cladding Products

Hoppings supply a Q-Clad range of cladding products as part of their exterior timber products offering. 

For sheds, cabins, buildings and screens:

• Preservative pre-treated (UC3) with a 15 year treatment warranty
• Featheredge, Shiplap and Loglap profiled cladding as well as screening timbers, made from high quality certified softwood
• CladMark accredited

Q-Clad painted finish cladding:

• Treated to UC3 with a 15 year treatment warranty
• Featheredge profiles, made from slow grown Scandinavian whitewood
• Factory applied black, white or grey painted finish
