Marley’s anti-slip decking ranges
Marley have long recognised the benefits of enhanced grip in decking and therefore their tried and tested antislip decking ranges – CitiDeck and AntiSlip Plus – ensure that decked areas are safe for use by everyone, everywhere, all year round.
- Manufactured in the UK with all processing carried out under one roof
- Slip resistant – comfortably exceeds the minimum PTV value required by the HSE for low slip potential all year round, even in the wet weather
- Pressure treated with a wood preservative to Use Class 3
- Visually graded to BS 4978 in line with the grading requirements of BS EN 14081 to European Strength Class C16 or C24. As part of our quality process, our timber decking also carries the UKCA mark
- Sustainable – FSC and PEFC accredited
- Low maintenance
- DeckMark and DeckMark Plus accredited
CitiDeck®
CitiDeck is an anti-slip timber deck board designed for use in urban environments where accessibility is essential. The smooth profile of CitiDeck provides a safe and comfortable surface for all users of the decking including pedestrians, wheelchair users and cyclists.
Originally developed to promote inclusivity at the Olympic Park, CitiDeck is now specified for many applications including schools, leisure, restaurants and at home.
- The smooth profile of Marley CitiDeck is easy to clean, preventing accumulation of dirt, litter or food waste.
- CitiDeck features two non-slip inserts in a white-coloured flint which is less abrasive then the bauxite options available.
- Visually graded to BS 4978 in line with the grading requirements of BS EN 14081 to European Strength Class C16 or C24.
- CitiDeck has been independently tested by the Health and Safety Laboratory and exceeds the HSE’s minimum requirement for low slip potential.
- Pressure treated with a wood preservative to Use Class 3
AntiSlip Plus®
AntiSlip Plus has been specifically designed for commercial applications and where there is public access to provide a durable and effective anti-slip surface.
- Available in a traditional grooved or smooth profile.
- Features two non-slip inserts with a grey-coloured aggregate
- Visually graded to BS 4978 in line with the grading requirements of BS EN 14081 to European Strength Class C16 or C24.
- CitiDeck has been independently tested by the Health and Safety Laboratory and exceeds the HSE’s minimum requirement for low slip potential
Standard Decking
Standard deck boards are also available and are suitable for use with AntiSlip Plus or CitiDeck in areas that don’t require anti-slip boards.

Marley is accredited under the DeckMark Product accreditation scheme. In addition, Antislip Plus and Citideck (28mm, 34mm, 46mm & 68mm x 120mm and 28mm, 34mm, 46mm & 68mm x 145mm) carry DeckMark Plus accreditation because they have achieved a 'low slip potential' rating in slip resistance testing carried out in accordance with BS7976 and 'The UK Slip Resistance Group Guidelines'.
