WJ Timber Treatments

Located in Hull and Rochester, WJ Timber Treatments (part of the WJ Group) is first and foremost a timber treatment service provider. 

WJ Timber Treatments provide both low and high pressure preservative treatment services in addition to flame retardant treatment.

Decking Services

As part of its product range, WJ Timber Treatments provides both an anti-slip decking board product range and an anti-slip decking board service solution, both under the brand DeckWright. In both instances, the anti-slip aggregate is a factory applied, machined process, which transforms timber deck boards into fully tested and safe anti-slip surfaces. The specially formulated combination of resin and aggregate has been designed to work on all specifications of timber decking and is a robust solution to the hazards posed in slippery conditions. 

DeckWright anti-slip Decking 

WJ DeckWright Anti-Slip softwood treated timber decking is available as 32 x 125mm boards in two profiles - grooved or smooth. The timber is preservative treated in accordance with BS 8417 to Use Class 3 (for above ground applications) or Use Class 4 (in or near ground).

DeckWright anti-slip boards come with a 15 year warranty.

DeckWright anti-slip Service

The DeckWright Anti-Slip process can be applied to most species and specifications of timber. The Service allows customers to source their own timber decking products to be applied with the specially formulated anti-slip decking solution in a factory-controlled process.

A wide selection of aggregate colours are available with the choice to fit one or two inserts per deck board. Customisation is subject to minimum order quantities and longer lead times.

Deckwright ABODO anti-slip deck boards

New to the Deckwright product range is a smooth profile deck board made from thermally modified wood Abodo. Abodo is a great looking decking product that’s durable and sustainable.

Available in lengths of 3.6m and 4.8m.
