Prowood Ltd is an importer, sawmiller and distributor of high-quality softwoods and hardwoods - supplying manufacturers, contractors, merchants and importers throughout the UK and Ireland. 

Prowood has one of the UK’s largest stockholding of Clear Softwood, all available with full Chain of Custody Certification. All species are supplied either rough sawn or machined to standard or bespoke profiles. 

Prowood offer a comprehensive range of services including painting, staining and priming, preservative and flame retardant treatments, as well as strength grading. All operations are undertaken at Prowood's large facility in Wigan, to maintain organisation and control quality.

Prowood's range of standard and bespoke cladding solutions, PROCLAD is available for prompt delivery throughout the UK.

PROCLAD products are available in all species, although they are most usually specified in Western Red Cedar (WRC), Siberian Larch or Thermowood. Prowood also supply WRC Shingles

Prowood cladding products are covered by the necessary Declarations of Performance and CE marks. Please contact the sales department for any required documentation. 

ENVIRONMENTAL CERTIFICATION 

Prowood carry chain of custody certification with FSC^®, PEFC^®, CSA, SFI and MTCS certification schemes.
