Located near Seaford on the River Ouse, this project involved the replacement of the port's ageing timber fishing stages with a modern jetty, access walkway and pontoon system. The redevelopment has been designed to provide the local fishing industry with safer, more durable mooring facilities that will support long-term operational needs.
The jetty and access walkway are constructed using a steel substructure, complemented by FSC-certified Ekki timber joists, kickers and decking supplied by Ecochoice Ltd. Combining robust steel construction with the exceptional durability of Ekki hardwood ensures a resilient solution capable of withstanding the demanding marine environment while delivering a safe and reliable working platform for years to come.
