Samsung Offices - A Stylish and Safe Decking Solution
As part of a refurbishment project, Samsung's offices in Chertsey, Surrey, benefited from the installation of 800m² of anti-slip timber decking supplied by Gripsure.
The project involved replacing existing decking boards that had become slippery and deteriorated over time, with the aim of creating safer, more accessible outdoor spaces for employees to enjoy throughout the year.
Gripsure's Contemporary decking profile was selected for its combination of modern aesthetics, slip resistance and ease of maintenance. Featuring a smooth timber surface with two integrated anti-slip inserts, the boards provide enhanced grip underfoot while allowing leaves and debris to be easily swept away.
Overlooking the surrounding lake, the newly refurbished decked areas offer an inviting space for employees to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The clean, contemporary appearance of the decking also complements the building's glass façade, creating a stylish finish without compromising on safety.
The completed project demonstrates how carefully selected anti-slip timber decking can transform ageing outdoor spaces into attractive, practical and safer environments for everyday use.
