The TDCA is proud to be a category sponsor of the Façade Awards 2024, a celebration of the very best in façade design across the UK from the past year.
Brought to you by the publishers of RCI magazine, the main aim of the awards is to raise awareness of the critical role façades play in modern architecture, reward excellence in façade design and promote the importance of collaboration between product manufacturers and contractors.
The TDCA is sponsoring the category: Best use of a Timber clad system but there are also many other categories which timber cladding could be a contender.

TDCA: Best use of a timber clad system
The judges will be looking at the overall appearance of a building, including the architect’s design and how it complements the existing surroundings as well as the challenge and logistics involved to complete the project.
The scope of the award covers new build or refurbishment projects. If it’s a refurbishment project, judges will be looking to see how well the product has improved/complemented the existing building. The project should have been completed on time, within budget and have either met or exceeded the client's expectations.
Qualifying projects must be completed between 1 June 2023 and 1 June 2024.
